The first release candidate of Firefox 1.5 is now available for download. According to MozillaZine, the following improvements are included:
- faster Back and Forward navigation
- clearing private browsing data
- drag-and-drop reordering of browser tabs
- redesigned Options/Preferences window
- better popup blocking
- improved web standards support
- support for Scalable Vector Graphics, JavaScript 1.6 and more CSS
- greater support for Mac OS X
